January 27th 2018

Get ready to put your debate skills to the test! Join us for our first all-girls debate tournament of 2018!  From abolitionists, Civil Rights Movement organizers, to Suffragettes – women have always been debaters. The Girls Debate League tournament strives to continue that history! This tournament is sponsored by Humanities New York Action Grant. We are thankful for the support of Humanities New York over the years.

Debaters will participate in 2-3 debate rounds from their respective debate format and topic. They will have the opportunity to participate in competitive debate while enhancing their community of supportive young women. With keynote speakers, a trophy celebration, and creative activities throughout the day, this is a tournament you do not want to miss!
